What a lovely night. The moon hung high above, washing over her white bodice with it's lunar glow. The spring rain pelted her fur in an entrancing rhythm. The smell of it was just so great.. If there was one thing on this earth that could calm her tormented soul it was a night like this. Nothing was better than being alone like this, nothing. Or then again.. perhaps there was something. She needed something whether she would ever admit it or not. Being a lone wolf was boring her to death. More than ever she had longed to speak to another. Usually she'd rather wander the shadows by herself than be within a crowd, especially something such as a pack, but when being through hell and back you do tend to long for strange things.
A long sigh came from between her jaws now. Her calmness was wearing thin. The rain she had just been enjoying was annoying her. She did hate the spring. There was so much rain that you began to hate it. Give Vy a peaceful rainy autumn day and you'd have a perfectly happy wolf, but spring was not a good season for her, never had been, never would be. She also enjoyed winter, now that was what she loved. The biting cold matched her witty tongue and personality more than anything. Perhaps that was why many packs turned her down. She was cold, and sharp tongued. Sarcasm was her ally. Wasn't there any place looking for an evil wolfess?
It was easy to say that her color didn't match her soul. White was such a pure color, Vy was not. Even her eyes were sweetly and beautifully innocent in their pale blue hue, but again she was the opposite. That's not say her whole body was purely pallid, no. She had a black tip on her large, fluffy tail and even a bit of a black 'forelock' and at the moment this 'forelock' was laying in her eyes. The ebon hair was placed right in her eyes, filled with the rain. Her ears flicked in annoyance, how she hated when this happened. She then threw her head back to remove it from her vision. Much better..., she thought.
With a few more steps she found herself at the edge of a river. Her eyes scanned over it, checking over, wondering silently. She rolled her eyes and sighed. It was late, she didn't feel like messing with it, so she merely was seated and enjoyed what was left of that beautiful night.
> Kaos moved along the edge of the woods, his ebony body blending into the night. It was time to prove he belonged here. He smiled and moved silently over the rushing of the river. Luckily the wind was working for him... She would never smell him coming. He had decided earlier tonight to stake out the area... just in case anybody tried to jump the river. His patience had paid off.... he moved silently up behind her and took a dominant stance. Any wolf looking to enter would have to go through me... he thought this and a giglle almost escaped his lips but he held it back. "Tell me why you failed to detect my presense, You worthless pile of spine." He said his voice held a serious tone. Not one of hate but of testing. If she could give him a good reason Kaos would call Kalm and she just might make it.
> He stared disapproavingly at the wolf taking in her odd coloration. He couldn't hold it back his demented giggle flew from his lips piercing the night's dark air loudly. I his muzzle split into a creepy smile and his teeth glisened from the moon light. His fur was to dark. He was sure that standing here in the shadow all she would see is his one neon green eye. " What do you want with these lands wolf?" he asked his voice was stern despite his smile. "And a name please calling you wolf isn't to endearing." His smile got wider. He was with a female time to put on the charm... even if she probably was an evil wolfess.....
Silence, pure silence. It calmed her already tired body. Soon she found herself nodding off into sleep. Each time she stretched her eyes open and blinked. She couldn't just go to sleep out here in the middle of nowhere. How could she sleep at such a moment as this anyway? It was almost as if the only things on Earth were the moon, stars, and herself. How could she abandon that feeling for sleep? It was quite easy when one was tired..
The wind had worked in his favor indeed. She didn't smell him or sense him at all. Even if the wind hadn't been on his side she most likely wouldn't have noticed his presence. She was tired you see and her senses were dulled greatly. At the point of hearing a voice she slowly turned to face the male. Any other time a voice seemingly coming from nowhere would have scared her greatly, but being half asleep made it hard to move very fast, let alone be surprised. His words were slowly comprehended inside her head. Worthless pile of spine? Creative insult, but an insult none the less. Heh. Must be a pack wolf. Now how shall I answer something such as this? Easily, sharp tongue do your thing..."I'll give two perfectly good reasons. One, I'm quite tired and two, the wind is obviously on your side. I at least think this is two very good points, whether you do or not, I haven't the fainst clue."
That should be good. So it wasn't exactly the most rude answer, although she could have been more rude, evil in her actions really, but she would save her devilish remarks for later perhaps. Again the male spoke, this time with a very good question. If Vy herself would have been in his paws she would have asked the same thing. What did she want with this land? Nothing really. She had wandered upon it, that's all, but then again... this wolf, most likely of a pack could maybe, just maybe be the sign she needed. She could join a pack, perhaps his own? Who knew.. "Well, I must admit, I came here with no cause really, but I do believe now that I seem more awake that I sense a nearby pack? So with that being said, a pack may just be what I want, sir. Oh yes, a name, Vyzamix, but I prefer simply Vy, it tends to be easier on the tongue you see." She than herself smiled, a devilish smirk, she could be a flirt, but now was probably not the time for such things...

Re: +A Pallid Rain
ooc: I'm coming in, number one becuase you cannot give ranks, and number two... because there is none? Hey another wolf with nightmares! I though Kalm was the only one.
bic:
What a lovely moon you are, yet you leave every other day...
Kalm was over the lands, the wind blowing his red eyes glowed in the darkness. The moon was beautiful, he looked down at his paws, he had just letted a young wolf named Kaos join his pack. How will this wolf do in this pack? Kalm wonder to himself, he shrugged and got on all fours. He left his den he made and lefted his head, he smelled the scent of a new comer. The tip of his tail wagged, Once again it is time to bring terror to one... Kalm thought to himself as he smirked. Once again the time has come...
The ebony wolf took his time to go to the creek. It brought back memories of the past. He than shook his head not wanting to remember the past but just see the present. As Kalm grew closer and closer he noticed that Kaos was greeting the newcomer. Kalm didn't mind at all, if Kaos does a few things well his rank may go up. But Kalm still needed to be there to give the rank to the new wolf apon the lands. Kalm than went on a hill and looked at his beautiful lands, he breathed in the dresh air. Kalm than sighed, My lands are such beauty... Kalm just grinned at himself, once again he was going soft. A color not going with the wolfess' heart and soul...
Kalm left the hill and went to the creek seeing Kaos talking to the female wolfess. Kalm just sat down almost behind Kaos, yet a little bit to the right. Kalm couldn't be seen besides his red eyes and white scar. A smirk was on his face, he than saw the white wolfess, Yet another beauty on the lands. Kalm thought to himself, blocking it away from others. Kalm admitted that he thought some females were beautiful but he wasn't interested in having a mate, not now that is. He only knew two females, the beautiful Evane and the other beauty and brave Jaze. But Kalm did not want to choose a mate, all he wanted to choose who would become his alphess from all the newcommers and his pack members. He watched as the white female answered Kaos' question with a witty answer. Kalm kind of figured he could use her as Gamma. She did seem like the type that would also torment the new commers. The smirk grew on his face, but than it turned into a grin. A thought...
Kalm than looked at Kaos. Hand her over to me when you're done, Kaos. Kalm told Kaos telepathicly. Kalm than just turned his head back to the female wolf. His eyes shinned with eviliness and bitter in them. Kalm was only kind to his pack members... sometimes... but to others he was a bitter cold-hearted wolf. Kalm felt temptation in his heart, he smelled a deer nearby, maybe after they let her join or leave there will be a pack hunt... Kalm than blinked the thought out of his head. Kalm than just stared at them...
Re: +A Pallid Rain
> A smile split his muzzle and he spoke out loud his voice more friendlier since the alpha arrived. "Almost done here your alphaship... just one more question." He never turned to look at Kalm. "What makes you think you are worthy of Kalm's pack?" His demented laugh escaped his lips and he got up and moved behind his alpha sitting lower to the ground from him.
He hoped she would make it. She would be an asset to the pack.... I could use her....
Re: +A Pallid Rain
ooc - yup, I'm Duplex. ^^ and yup, she has nightmares as well.
She carefully considered this situation she had gotten herself into. Yes, she seemed to have quite a situation on her paws now. Another wolf had approached in an opposite hue than herself. His red eyes were really something compared to her own pale blue ones, but that didn't exactly matter now did it? She was the one in the spotlight right now. She was the one on trial, flaunted about here, awaiting the approval of these two males. It was interesting and just what she needed really. She needed someone to speak to before she went even more insane than she already was. Of course her insanity wasn't noticeable because she was insanely evil in her ways. She was not crazy, just devishly possessed almost. Strange, yes, but the truth nonetheless.
The first male spoke a question then. Vy ears perked at the sound of his voice. She had drifted away upon a raft in her mind yet again, which was another down side to being her. Her thinking pounced upon the question, ready to conquer it with her witty words. First she cleared her throat, readying her vocals for a rather sharp and greatly important speech.
"Well, to be begin with I am not some lazy ass looking for some place I can put up my paws and mooch off the pack. I'll do my best at whatever duty I'm put at. I admit. I have been a lone wolf all my life, I'm not a social butterfly by far. Yeah, I've got quite a mouth on me, but I can be respectful to those higher than, me believe it or not. That doesn't mean I'm a someone who'll sit there cowering before an alpha, but I'll be respectful. As for what I can actually do for the pack, well, I know the basics of survival. Being born without anyone to care for you does give you quite a knack of caring for yourself. I consider myself smart- not just smart mouthed, but intelligence wise also. I can find my way out of mental and physical messes quite easily, usually and well I'm flexible. You give me a job to do and I'll do anything within my limits to complete it. I believe I've said enough also."
And with that she shut her mouth and awaited what these two would think of very blunt personality.

The moon started to glow, making everything that was black to be seen. Kalm closed his eyes for a second and nodded his head at Kaos. He looked at Kaos curios of his next move... His voice has changed now that I am here. It has become more kinder... He is doing well though. Kalm thought to himself, this could be the moment Kaos was waiting for a chance to prove to Kalm that he is eligable (?) to get a higher rank. Although Kalm still wasn't sure, he still needed to think about it. He didn't want to give away ranks to those who don't even respect the fact that Kalm was the one who gave it to them. Kalm than sighed as Kaos talked, he was becoming tried, but his eyes were wide open.
Kalm scanned the female's body, She seems fit to be a loner. She most've been a good lone wolf... Kalm than smirked and looked at the female. He listened to her words as they came out of her mouth. She has been a lone wolf all of her life, ne? Well this wolfess is a very lucky one. Not all lone wolves survive this long and healthy. Kalm was thinking of a rank to give her in the back of his head. He didn't mind the fact that this wolfess was a proud wolfess. It was as though she was to be a high ranked wolf. Yet Kalm didn't want to give her a high rank, not until he knows more aabout this wolfess. Kalm than turned to the moon, oh the beautiful white moon, it shinned in his eyes. Kalm than smiled and looked back at Vyzamix.
KAlm turned his head to Kaos, not wanting to know what this young wolf was thinking. Kalm was young once and he hoped that Kaos wasn't like him, a raper who wanted every wolfess he sees in fornt of him. The only wolfess he has ever gone slow with was the one he once loved. The one that had an affair with his own brother, his blood, himself... Kalm was close to growling but didn't. He than just shook his head, I am a different wolf now. I am not the same, I am more gentler. I am just a evil wolf with a black heart as hard as a diamond. No one can change the fact that I show kindness to my pack members only. Kalm than thought in the back of his head, No one can take my place... He than stared at the two wolves, waitiing for one to act. Kalm didn't care who as long as it was one of them. Kalm was beginning to like this wolfess' proudness and attitude. Kalm just smirked at them as he waited for movement and talking to start,
Re: ...
OOC: sorry its so short I'm so tired I cant write anymore.
> Kaos's mind went wild at the thought of the wolfess being in the pack... This one would be useful. "You have said quite enough. Now its up to Kalm as to whether you will be welcomed. That is if he is not blinded by you beauty Vy." His muzzle split into a wide grin and he winked from behind the alpha. He shifted slightly his body sticking out at odd angles. He had always been a bit bony but he still had plenty of muscle.
For a few moments no one seemed to say much, the alpha, Kalm as the other male had called him didn't say anything yet. She had to admit it, that made her a little on edge, impatient even. What did he think of her? She couldn't exactly tell from his expression and because it was so dark, so she merely sat there, wondering. Then the other spoke up. This was a welcome sound from the brief silence she had experienced, but his words did stir in her mind. Beauty? What beauty? She looked down at her paws, trying to decide if he was being sarcastic. She never thought of herself as beautiful, most of the time she hated herself even. What was this wolf talking about?
She was quite sure even if by some standards she was beautiful, the alpha wouldn't be blinded at all by it. He seemed like a strong minded wolf even though she didn't know him yet. No, her beauty wouldn't help her here and perhaps neither would her mouth. Maybe there was something else he meant by it. Perhaps the alpha didn't think her attractive, but since this other brought it up, maybe he thought her to be pretty? Well, no time for that, this was a time to be serious, but still she did think this over more.
"Oh come now, I'm not beautiful and even if I was I doubt I could get into this pack just because I 'blinded' the alpha with it. Anyway, that's not the point at the moment." She looked at the one before her with a sly smile. She was in moderately high spirits and was enjoying this little meeting whether she would admit it or not. Although she kept herself very calm and awaited the final decision, welcome or not?

Re: ...
ooc: welcome to Ash to Ash
EDIT: private thread will be up soon...
bic:
The night grew cold, it was near midnight and the moon was still shinning down apon them all, but not enough for other may see Kalm's face. Listening to his pack member speak to the wolfess, ...Blinded by your beauty... Was all he caught from the young mischief male, Kaos. Which made Kalm chuckle at the young wolf. He sure is a kidder, or just a plain old flirter... Kalm thought to himself. He was planning to giving Kaos a higher rank, but he still wasn't for sure.
Kalm than got on all four and padded over to the female. He ignored what she was telling Kaos. Kalm than circled the female a couple times, seeing if she was in good shape. Which she was, he noticed that she was in good health from the first time he saw her. Kalm had a good rank for her. But he didn't want to offend Kaos for the rnk he was giving this wolfess, not for her beauty, no. But for her mouth, she seemed as if she would have fun making the new commers feel unwelcome. Besides the fact she was a loner all her life and kept herself in good health.
Kalm than sat in fornt of the white female. His red eyes glaring at her, as if he was going to run her off. He than turned to Kaos, I'm moving your rank up to Iota. Do better, I may move you to Delta if Shadow doesn't return... Kalm told Kaos telepathically. He than turned to Vy once again. "Young Female, Vyzamix... I shall give you the rank of Gamma. For you were once a lone wolf, but now you are a part of this pack. I'm sure you'll have fun torturing (?) all the other loners that come by here." Kalm said smirking at Vyzamix. "And by the way, you are a beautiful wolfess, like Kaos says. But don't think it was your beauty that got you in the pack. I don't judge on speices or looks. I judge on health, strength, skills, and how they think. Be sure to use that mouth of your carefully here." Kalm said looking at the female.
The ebony alpha than turned around and went up to Kaos. He turned to Vyzamix and nodded to her, as in he said to follow her. He didn't know if Kaos knew the lands well, but he decided to show them both the lands. Even if Kaos knew them, if he did he could just walk off he wanted too. Kalm's eyes told Kaos all of this.
Re: ...
As he glared at her she began to contemplate where she would live next. Judging by his expression he would run her off and she would again be a loner. No big deal really, but still it did make her a little angry at herself for exposing her mouth so suddenly, but no. She wasn't going to be ran off the land after all. He was accepting her into the pack. How odd. Her, in a pack? A good thought, but an odd thought nonetheless. A good rank too, Gamma and also she could provide her witty words to torment the new comers. How fun. It seemed to be a perfect job for her. Using her mouth was one of her greatest joys. Her so called beauty wasn't part of his decision of course, but who cares? She had actually made it into a pack, not just a pack, but a seemingly good pack as well.
She nodded, slyly smiling and began to follow Kalm. This would be one adventure for her that she would never forget. It would be better than living alone by her own rules probably. Then again, maybe not. She would soon find out. Although it really didn't matter much to her. It was just something new and different. She had a responsibility in a pack. She actually had some kind of reason to live. It all felt so new and different, yet strangely good. Her future was now a little clearer. There was no more guessing about where she would sleep at night or wondering if she would die the next day. It was more definite and it felt good to know that, but still she wouldn't let her guard down, she'd always be the same Vyzamix, purely blunt in words and actions.
