A Christians veiw on Gods 12 steps.
The 12 Steps of Becoming Sober and Living A Spiritually Healthy life!

.) We admitted we were powerless over alcohol (and all sin in our lives) that our lives had become unmanageable. (All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.)
.) Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. (Being The Lord Jesus Christ) (Jesus said I came to give you life. And life more abundantly.)
.) Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as who he really is. (Father, Son, And Holy Spirit.) ( Asking to be saved and being born again by trusting in Jesus Christ!)
.) Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. (Confessed our Sins to God and asked for his forgiveness.)
.) Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. (Confessed our sins one to another according to Gods word.)
.) Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. (Submitted and given our lives to Jesus Christ.)
.) Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings. (To deliver us from evil and temptation.)
.) Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.
.) Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
.) Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.
.) Sought through prayer and meditation on Gods word the Holy Bible to improve our conscious contact with God Through Jesus Christ by which no man can come to know God without him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
.) Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps and knowing Jesus Christ, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics, (And to anyone who wants to know God as he really is.) and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

Seek truth. Seek Christ, and beware of wolves in sheeps clothing. There are many among us!
