922 - The One With The Donor
Review by xFriendsFanaticx, from AngelFriends
Storyline: Chandler invites over his co-worker Zack to dinner with both him and Monica in hopes of him being a possible sperm donor.
Characters: Monica, Chandler, and Zack (John Stamos)
Review: While continuing from the previous episode, the storyline still remained to be just as interesting as it started. Comedic wise it was all right but nothing spectacularly funny, except the final moment at the end of the story as Monica and Chandler look out the window hoping to hear a condom break. Even though Stamos’ character had very little to say, he worked out fine with two of the main characters. And I am glad that Monica and Chandler have chosen not to have a donor but to adopt. I still have a feeling this is not the end of their problems.

Storyline: While shopping with Charlie, Rachel reveals to Phoebe that she likes Joey but both of them fear Charlie may have overheard them.
Characters: Rachel, Phoebe, and Charlie (Aisha Tyler)
Review: Since taking a breather last week, Rachel’s crush on Joey continues yet again. Although it seems to be following somewhat of the same path as last season with Joey’s crush, the comedic humor still seems to be there as even more confusion adds on with Charlie thinking Phoebe has a crush on Joey. I wonder if this is going to further complicate things later on. In any rate, the storyline still is becoming somewhat more interesting by each episode. But the funniest moment had to be Rachel trying to hear Phoebe in the dressing rooms.

Storyline: In hopes to be a key speaker in Barbados, Ross has to impress the professor who may give him the position but while trying to impress, guess who falls asleep?
Characters: Ross and Professor Sherman
Review: To me this storyline was a rather bit of a filler. Even though it probably will play a big part in next week’s finale, I would have rather heard about Ross’ interview with the Professor than actually seeing it. The storyline did start off on a funny note in the first half, but by the second half it felt like who really cares. The storyline wasn’t a total bummer though; it did provide laughs when it did.
Grade: 80 (B)
---------------------------------
Storyline: To prove she is over Mike, Phoebe finds the dress to show it. But while going to prove it, she bumps into her ex-lover David.
Characters: Phoebe and David (Hank Azaria)
Review: Wow, I didn’t know that the writers even had the
courage to bring back David after what they did to his character in Male Nanny. This storyline of Phoebe continuously running into David since season one is becoming a little played out; the writers should just make the decision of whether or not he and Phoebe should be together. The storyline (even though it remained only to be a 5 minute one) will probably make Charlie’s assumption of Phoebe’s crush on Joey a lot more interesting. On the other hand, this storyline remained to be a laugh-less and not as interesting as the other 3, but it most likely is just build up to the finale.
Grade: None, since it really didn’t play a big part to the episode as a whole.
