2 weeks out diet
hi ya girl!!!!
My question is this... the 2 weeks pre show, what would you diet look like? 6-7 meals? Low carb or zig zag style diet??? I also wonder about carb loading choices also do you hit sugars the day of the show or do the rice cake thing. I've been collecting a variety of styles and I know different things work differently in everyone... I guess I'm looking for the similarities.

Hey!! WELCOME TO THE FORUM:) :) :) :)

My diet stays pretty much the same throughout the 12 weeks..Darrin will tweak it here and there when i plateau but the number of meals stay the same, usually 6 and the macronutrient ratios also stay the same until the last week prep.

The day of the show i keep it primarily carbs--sugary tastey ones:) :)

Great post LA:b I agree with that approach. So many people screw up last week and go for drastic changes and it back fires:x The piont is you should be lean and mean two weeks out(in my opinion) and maintain till comp with slight tweeking;)

I agree.. too many gals and guys drastically change thier diets with no rhyme or reason to and end up causing more harm than good. The last week is suffficiant to manipulate your body into show condition--and besides if you don't look they way you to at that point--there's absolutely NOTHING that can done in 3 or 4 days...lol
