1st race is finally over
This was my 1st race ever and I just started riding the track 4months ago. I almost got taken out in the 1st moto, 1st turn I got pushed the track but I came back and got 1st place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2nd moto I was in 3rd off the start and in the 1st turn the guy to my left fell so I went right and the guy to my left then fell so I had no where to go so I tried to ride over him and I got hung up and fell over ,when I got up I was in last ( out of 20 riders) I came all the way back to 4th place ( it was only 4 laps ) I wish I had a few more , but over all for my 1st race I think I did pretty good ,oh and did I mentinon I am almost 29 and the rest of them are 16,17,18 yr old ,kids in great shape and crazy and all the do is race. So I ended up getting 3rd over all and I got a pretty good size trophy (almost 2ft) and that all I really wanted was a trophy anyways and now I can say I raced and I am not 50yrs old saying man I wish I raced once when I was younger.Thanks for all your help I really appreicate it a lot
Its great that you were able to do that well in your first race. Many of us had to work a lot harder to attain that first podium trophy. sounds like you have worked hard,listened and made it happen. Good luck and stay focused.

Thanks alot for all your help!!!!! I am going to race the whole next series and see what happens. I am going to do a lot of video taping so I can see what looks good and what needs work , I know for sure after the race I need to do sprint laps and my endurance was fine ,the race was 4 laps and I practiced for 7-10laps. I need to keep on doing starts even though I did good I want to be really good, I heard once there are 2 races on to the 1st turn and then the rest of the race, you win the 1st part and the 2nd part is easier.I did not really do to much cardio for the last month , I just took your advie and rode a lot 2-3 times per week.I am going to go back to doing as much as I was 2months ago and still try to ride 2-3 times per week and that should kick it up a notch ,anyways THANKS SOOOOOOOO MUCH ..........
