1483 Computer Games
Interactive computer games for 1483 are now entering into production. There are plans for 3 different versions. They will be as follows:
1) Europe 1483 Online.
A FREE game to download and free to play. Playable online only. Up to 28 players per game. Players will have a limited number of games they can play in at any one time.
2) 1483 Online: Plus Edition
A free game to download. $2 per month. This game will include the entire world. Playable only online. Up to 72 players per game. Moderators will be able to set update times.
3) 1483 Online: Premium Edition
This game will only be available for sale as a CD Rom package, orderable online and in stores. Likely $39.95. $4 a month, though the first 2 months free with the CD Rom purchase. Playable online and as a face to face game on your own computer. Up to 72 players or more per game. Moderators get all sorts of perks, including variable update schedules, a complete map editor, optional player rankings, private online games, game statistics, optional rules and more.
The free game of Europe 1483, if everything stays on schedule, should be available and up and running by the end of the summer. Its too early to provide a schedule on the Plus and Premium editions at this time.
