12 weeks and counting....
Well as asked by Darrin this is where i will post for the next 12 weeks
I will update daily, so that everyone can join me on the ride of my life
So today's updates:
I have filled in a questionair, I am just about to read a book that Darrin has written "I Bult This" i feel very lucky as i know that darrin is going to change my total outlook on diets and weightloss in general
I have taken pic's and done my stats and feel very confident that those will be the last time i will ever look like that!
I am very excited and nervous at the same time
I think knowing that i have a long way to go is a bit daunting, aspecially when i think that i have things all wrong about diet! But i know with Darrins guidence i will get through the mystery
Here I am to support you chick Em the great thing about having PT is that you do not have to worry about anything anymore Darrin will be the brains All you have to do is to follow his INSANE comands LOL...no honestly just eat and train as he says ENJOY DA RIDE
Re: 12 weeks and counting....
Hello girls
Thankyou for all the support it's wonderfull
Ok so after me being a silly blonde yesterday with my email I got the book that Darrin has written called "I Built This"
So to be honest when i started reading i thought hmmm good sleeping pill (Sorry Darrin) But boy was i wrong!!!!!
His idea's are just so simply amazing, i am half way through the 124 pages and i learned alot about what i am doing wrong and i was feeling alittle disheartened think "Oh no i have been working so hard at the gym and yet no huge results?" and now i have answered the why with the help of darrins book!
It is so hard for the average person like me to find the RIGHT advice even when you pay big $$$ for it you still get misleading advice, and i am only now realising how bad the advice i have recieved from my gym was
But with Darrins help i will turn it all around and with alot of hard work in the gym and outside of the gym i will ahcieve my body goals
So under Darrin's advice for this 12 week journey i am looking at shedding the FAT, my body comp was just through the roof (a real eye opner for me) and Darrin also feels that through my weight loss on my own i have also lost alot of lean body mass, So i dare say it will be a matter of working on lowering fat and rebuilding what i have lost in lean mass??? But i am not 100% sure yet as at the moment i am just reading Darrins book and he is going through my stats etc and formulating my torture ooops sorry i me program
Re: 12 weeks and counting....
The book is amazing...its written in a very easy to understand way and contains everything you need to know!! I'm glad you've taken the opportunity to read it soo soon. I know I personally learned soooo much from reading it and was truly amazed with the real world knowledge!
You are going to do an incredible job with your transformation!! Don't worry about the body comp...you'll never see those numbers again
Re: 12 weeks and counting....
Em Hon I am going to use your journal to spread the word about my Yoga Retreat this weekend...I know people will come to check up on you here...I will need some support too.Thanx girl
Please check here:
When Darrin's clients purchase his diet he includes in the price part of the book (only a select few would receive the whole book)--the final edition isn't in print yet but it will be hopefully be towards the end of this year and be available for purchase. Some of the content (articles) on his site are segments from the book.
Re: 12 weeks and counting....

Re: 12 weeks and counting....
This morning i woke up and checked my email and found a nice email from Darrin, My program has arrived
As you know i have been alittle worried abot what rings Darrin would have me jumping through
But i am happy to say that i am very happy with what darrin has planned for me, With the correct supplements and the correct diet i am now armed with i know i cant fail
Reading the rest of Darrins book lastnight was a reall eye opener to how bad my diet was, It just proves that it really is a must to get the right advice as diet is a good 90% of weightloss/muscle growing (correct me if i am wrong Darrin)
So i have taken Darrins wonderfull saying "Abs are made in the kitchen" and put it on my fridge with a really bad pic of me
I am going to go shopping on tuesday to restock the fridge and do a cook up so that i am all prepared with my meals, I also have to go and find some supp's etc may have to find a good local health store
I am really pleased that my workouts ar familiar and that it will be really easy to fit around my day
3 day weights split for the gym and then at home i can do my 2 day interval session, so today i will sit down and organise my diary for the next four weeks and factor in my workouts
I am now feeling very excited, no worries at all
I would have to say that Darrin is the best ever PT i have ever worked with, he really gets to the point in the simplest way possible and is very supportive, How can i fail
Well i am off to prep, I will offically start on monday which is tomorrow for me here is Australia

Having met Darrin in person I can tell you that you are in great hands, he's tough LOL but he's a really great guy who cares about people and making sure they are getting the right information
Re: 12 weeks and counting....
Need alittle advice???
Yesterday i went to the doctor feeling alittle off an hour later i find that the reason for felling off and tierd is because i am pregnant
I was excited and yet upset all at once as i don't want to through this wonderfull opportunity away with darrin and i don't want to let him or you guys down
I have spoken to darrin via email and he has assured me that he has trained with pregnant women and that i can still lose body fat and maintain my gym sessions while pregnant
He then said to ask you guys and what better thing to do really
What do you girls think????
I am feeling confident that i can continue on with my journey as i have still been going to the gym eating right and the doctor thinks i am about 8 weeks along? and i have been going about my own program all untill monday when i recieved Darrins program (Which i love )
But i have been following the program but sotra waiting till i find out what Darrin wants to do and now what you guys think?
I just didn't want Darrin to feel like he was waisting his time or anything!
I am still 110% dedicated, and ready for any challenges that are put to me, not only do i have my doctor on my side but i think i also have Darrin on my side
Re: 12 weeks and counting....
well..first and foremost--congratulations
and second....keep on with training and the diet!! The diet is fine if you are preggo (if you find out you are having multiple babies then that would be a different dilema)...and training is beneficial for your body. I see too many ladies use pregnacy as an excuse for getting fat and letting thier nutrition and training go down hill....please don't be one of those woman--you've worked too hard to go back now. You can still lose fat while you are pregnant and if your nutrition is good as soon as you give birth your body will be more apt to respond in a positive way. We have a tonne of ladies at our gym who have trained throughout thier pregnancy..the only thing is the last couple months not to do anything lying down or lifting too heavy that may affect your breathing therefore preventing the baby from oxygen...
So on that...you can continue with your fitness goals and quest for a heathy lifestyle---now wouldn't that be a great story......if you actually weighed less while you were pregnant than you did to begin with
Lots to think about...but thats why we are here!! to help and support you every step of the way!!!
