The stoat is as skinny as can be, and yet she weilds her sword with ease. She wears a fine cloak which gives +1 protection, and a small leather pouch that could carry anything from money, to poison, to some sort of treasure...

As in most battles ill start off high up a three topped oak. I take careful aim and loose a shaft when hes not looking.

(Ok, fine... Swifteye and Slashback V.S. the stoat... Oh by the way. Slashback, can't have a title. You want one, stick around a while, and then you can have it.)
Swifteye fires an arrow, doing 17 damage. The stoat has 8 health.
The stoat stabs at Slashback, who is just standing their raving about killing things. He does 7 damage to the badger, who now has 33 health left.

The kill
I take aim at the back of the stoats head and loose my other shaft. By the way, I apologise for Slashback, he is one of my friends and doesent understand the way things work.

Swifteye shoots again, dealing 15 damage. The stoat dies.
Swifteye recieves 10 dubloons, and his arrows back. Does Swifteye take the straight Sword +4?

Yes I wouldent mind the sword, but arent those bracers out there that I can get?

Bracers straighten the wrist. They also protect it from a cut that could force you to drop your weapon... It harms more than helps work with the bow, even if it's good for a beast weilding a sword... If you want wrist protection, go for the arm gaurd. It protects your arm from your own bowstring, an enemy's weapon, and you health if you're watching the knife/axe throwing contest. Less protection, but doesn't stop you from using a bow. Still want the bracers?
